Transfer Digital Copies of Movies into Kindle Fire HD

Play digital copies on Kindle Fire HD? – I love my Kindle Fire HD 7! I would love it even more if I could find a way to play my dozen itunes digital copies on the Aamzon tablet from blurays that are stored in itunes. Any ideas?

As a digital version of Blu-ray or DVD movie, Digital Copy gives you he flexibility to watch your movie anytime, anywhere. You may transfer your "Digital Copy" to your Mac, PC and iTunes-compatible devices. Basically Digital Copies all boil down to the DRM (Digital Rights Management) which prevents you from playing them on unauthorized devices. Unfortunately, the Android devices have not get a license to play DRM contents, which means digital copy movies will even play on the Kindle Fire HD.

In order to bring Digital Copies downloads to Kindle Fire HD for playback without restrictions, you need to get rid of DRM from Digital Copy movies first and then transcode Digital Copy to a friendly format by Kindle Fire HD. If this is something you're interested in doing, read our full guide below.

Before anything else, you have to download an app that you're going to use later, you're required to download and install:

ChewTune (available for Windows or for Mac users)

ChewTune is an easy-to-use yet top-ranking DRM removal software for Android. It's an intuitive and stable DRM converter to help you remove DRM protection fromiTunes, Blu-ray/DVD Digital Copies, Amazon, Zune, BBC iPlayer, Napster, Blockbuster, etc. and convert videos to all popular video formats like MP4, MOV, MKV, WMV, AVI, FLV, etc. for playing and sharing anywhere you like. Meanwhile the playback of the converted videos is as decent as possible as original.

Easy Steps on Converting Digital Copy M4V movies to Kindle Fire HD

The main interface of ChewTune is as below. As you can see, you can encode/re-encode Digital Copy to Kindle Fire HD playable videos in just three step within clicks!

1. Run ChewTune, drag and drop digital copy movie to the software.

2. Now choose the output format for playback on your Kindle Fire HD. You can get optimized videos for Kindle Fire HD under Format > Android > Amazon Kindle Fire HD H.264(*.mp4). The output videos could fit on your device perfectly. You can also click "Settings" to change the video encoder, frame rate, resolution, etc.

P.S. Most folks are looking forward to the best format setting for Kindle Fire HD. The supported resolution of the Kindle Fire HD goes up to 1080p, though video playback and most apps never break out of 720p. For watching videos on the Android based Tablet, 720p with 1500~2000kbps is just all right. I find that bitrate higher results in big file size, and lower visible quality loss.

3. After above steps, just click "Convert" to start removing iTunes DRM protection and converting Digital Copy to Kindle Fire HD MP4 videos.

4. After the process, you can click "Open" to locate the converted MP4 video files and just transfer them to your Kindle Fire HD Tablet for playback without DRM limitations.
